Saga Holidays has introduced a new direct debit scheme meaning you can book holidays with cheap deposits.

Saga Holidays is giving passengers the chance to bag cruise holidays with deposits from just £50pp as part of a new payment scheme.

The over 50s travel firm has launched a monthly direct debit system where guests can spread the cost of their holiday, with the final amount due 10 weeks before departure.

Previously the firm did offer deposits but this is the first time they are offering passengers the ability to pay by direct debit each month.

The direct debit scheme and deposits will be available across both ocean and river cruises.

It could be the perfect excuse to try and book onto a sailing onboard one of the cruise line’s new ships, Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure .

It’s not just cruises which are included in the scheme – travellers can also opt for direct debit payments for the firm’s European and worldwide tours and holidays, with deposits from £10pp.

As part of the payments, guests can select their preferred monthly payment day and opt in to the scheme by either calling 0808 274 9317 or visiting the Saga website .

Maria Whiteman, Managing Director for Saga Holidays, explained: “The option to pay by direct debit means customers can secure their next holiday early and then spread the cost over the coming months.

“Booking early with Saga means more choice for our customers in many aspects of their holiday including; regional flight options, flight times, accommodation and cabin selection to mention just a few.

“That’s why it makes sense to offer Saga guests the chance to secure a great deal and spread the cost of their holiday. The earlier they book, the lower the monthly cost.”
